My Story

I have been dancing since a very young age and started my journey here at Dance Expression.

I continued my training at SLP College.

I then gained a scholarship with a Meisner based acting company for a year.

I have been lucky enough to perform all over the country including in York pantomime with Miss Emily, cast as the lead in Oklahoma in my 3rd year college production and toured with Rule the World (the UKs leading Take That tribute act).

What do you love about dancing?

I love how you can express yourself just through movement. I love musical theatre and becoming a character through song also!

What do you like about working at Dance Expression?

The kids enjoyment makes the extra hours choreographing to teach new things so worthwhile!

What's your favourite thing about teaching?

Being able to pass on knowledge and technique to the children and seeing them improve so well in such a short space of time!

Miss Emma is a great role model for the students, they love hearing about her performances
